The casing drilling technique, also known as the casing rotator, is a method of drilling and casing simultaneously.
The technology eliminates traditional drilling and casing processes, saving time and reducing costs.
The casing rotator consists of a rotating casing drive system attached to the rig. It is designed to rotate and
propel the casing into the wellbore while drilling. This allows continuous drilling and casing running without
the need to trip the drill pipe and trip the pipe.
The bottom of the casing rotator is fitted with a drill bit for drilling through the formation. As the drilling progresses,
the casing enters the wellbore simultaneously. This is achieved by rotating the casing while applying a downward force.
