Magnetic Ring Differential Mode Inductors
A differential mode inductor is an inductor with high inductance resistance to differential mode high frequency interference, also known as a differential mode choke coil. There are three types of differential mode inductor core materials. Fe-Si-Al cores have the lowest cost per unit volume and are therefore most suitable for making civilian differential mode inductors. The Fe-Ni50 and Fe-Ni-Mo powder cores are much more expensive than Fe-Si-Al cores and are more suitable for military applications and some applications with high volume and performance requirements.
Magnetic ring differential mode inductance characteristics:
The annular distribution gap causes a small amount of leakage of the magnetic flux and a high saturation current.
Application of magnetic ring differential mode inductance:
Used in various switching power supply systems and line filters, etc.
