Pedicle screws are one of Spine Implants,used to treat spinal fractures and dislocation of spinal joints.  It stabilizes the vertebral body and pedicle by inserting screws into the pedicle, promoting healing and recovery from a fracture or dislocation. Pedicle screws are sometimes used in spinal fusion to add additional support and strength while the fusion heals. Pedicle screws were placed above and below the fused vertebra. A rod is attached to the screw, preventing movement and allowing the bone graft to heal.
