Applications of Polypropylene Fiber
Polypropylene, a thermoplastic resin produced by polymerization of propylene, is one of the most widely used and fastest growing synthetic resins at home and abroad. Compared with other thermoplastic resins, Polypropylene has the advantages of wide source, light weight and low price, non-toxic and odorless, high strength as well as good thermal and chemical stability, so it is widely used in the field of medical devices.
Medical polypropylene (PP) should meet the requirements of high purity, non-toxic, non-irritant, chemically stable, non-degradable, non-inflammatory, non-allergic, biocompatible, non-carcinogenic, non-hemolytic and coagulation requirements, and can be subjected to sterilization, such as heat sterilization (autoclave), chemical sterilization (ethylene oxide) and radiation sterilization (gamma rays, electron beam). It should also have the required physical and chemical properties and processing properties, good anti-aging pr…
