Welded Longitudinal Finned Tube
Welded Longitudinal Finned Tubes are fabricated by overlapping resistance welding methods (lap seam welding).
The fins are welded in pairs on opposite sides of the tube. The fins have a U-shaped profile that provides better heat transfer efficiency, improves joint strength and helps achieve uniform distribution of fins over the circumference of the tube compared to conventional contact surface shapes.
The fins are formed by progressive rolling, which results in minimal internal stress in the final profile. Another advantage of this method is that the maximum length that can be reached is 7 meters.
