200gallon Grappa Distillation Equipment Factory
Grappa is made by distilling the grape skins (a blend of grape seeds, stalks, and stems) leftover from the winemaking process. The resulting spirit is not light by any means — on average, it contains 37.5 to 60 percent alcohol by volume! It's important that the fresher the better.
Continuous grappa distillation takes place in two stages, the first being in a disalcolatore, as 'strip alcohol', then distilled using continuous column distillation apparatus to produce Grappa at 80-86%.
