Fresh Meat MAP Tray is a gas-proof material that seals meat food under a changing gas environment to inhibit the growth, reproduction and biochemical activity of spoilage microorganisms and prolong shelf life. Modified atmospheric packaging gases are typically carbon dioxide, oxygen, and nitrogen, or various combinations thereof. In order to preserve meat for a long time, the three gases must be maintained in the proper ratio. The preservation effect of each gas on fresh meat is as follows: (1) Oxygen can maintain the brightness of the muscles, and the oxygen in the mixed gas can only keep the meat bright red when it is higher than 50%. (2) Carbon dioxide is colorless and odorless, and mainly plays a bacteriostatic effect in inflatable packaging. It can inhibit the oxidative rancidity of meat and the growth of fungi.
