96% crystal Lycopene powder is obtained by fermentation from Blakeslea trispora. It is red crystalline powder, practically insoluble in water, freely soluble in chloroform. It’s sensitive to air, heat and light, especially in solution.
Lycopene Beadlet 10% CWS-S consists of red or red-brown beadlets, with few white spots of food starch. The microencapsulation beadlets are manufactured with advanced spray and starch-catching drying technology. The individual lycopene molecules, from blakeslea trispora and extracted from the fungal biomass, purified by crystallization and filtration, are finely dispersed in the matrix of modified food starch, coated with corn starch. all-rac-α-Tocopherol is added as natural antioxidants.
